Carbon Credits
Using a combination of the FiltX planting solutions and our app, users can mine carbon credits to offset their carbon footprint, leading the way to a carbon neutral world!

Many different types of businesses can create and sell carbon credits by reducing, capturing, and storing emissions through different processes.
-
Reducing Supply Chain and secondary pollution activities
-
Carbon and methane capture and sequestration
-
Vertical Farming
FiltX will use Plants to convert CO2 from the atmosphere into organic matter through photosynthesis, which eventually ends up in the ground as dead plant matter. Once absorbed, the CO2 enriched soil helps restore the soil’s natural qualities – enhancing crop production while reducing pollution.
Carbon credits are traded on the voluntary market. By investing / trading in carbon reductions projects, companies can “offset” the carbon they produce.
The Carbon / GHG credit markets
The voluntary carbon market was estimated to be worth about $400 million last year, forecasts place the value of the sector between $10-25 billion by 2030, depending on how aggressively countries around the world pursue their climate change targets.

Who verifies carbon credits?
FiltX will provide our own ISO accredited 14001/14025 audit process via our own proprietary internal offset verification services. Currently there are no formal bodies or accredited providers of carbon verification processes, although the market is being positioned by a few early entrants, the process of verification is very much bespoke and inconsistent.
